The Full Moon Party is a party that takes place each month on Haad Rin beach.
Known as the world's best beach party it goes all through the night, and for some party animals it continues through the following day.

The island is quite easy to reach. There are regular ferries from Koh Samui (which also has an airport) and there are also ferries from the mainland at Surat Thani which has an international airport and can also be reached by train from Bangkok.
